EA Sports MMA game set for September release, PRIDE rules included

It has been revealed that the much anticipated EA Sports MMA game will be released in September 2010 as well as featuring PRIDE FC style rules meaning foot stomps and soccer kicks will be included.
According to MiddleEasy.com the following will feature:
- EA Sports MMA will be released on September 2010.
- The game will feature DREAM as a league (along with Strikeforce and a few other undisclosed organizations)
- Sakuraba looks like he will be included in the game. Huge.
- Developers are still struggling on the decision to include ‘ring restarts’ when the action gets too close to the ropes. Their only issue is that it may mess with gameplay.
- Pride style rules WILL be available including foot stomps and soccer kicks.
- The ability to ‘fight on the cage’ will be included in the game.
- The right analog kick will be used for striking with the left trigger used as a kicking modifier.
Confirmed fighters in EA SPORTS MMA include: Fedor Emelianenko, Randy Couture, Frank Shamrock, Renato Sobral, Gegard Mousasi, Jay Hieron, Mo Lawal and Jason Miller.
